Pre-k & Kindergarten Coordinator               

I established the Montessori system in the department. This includes training the teachers, providing the materials, and developing the curriculum. I am now responsible for leading and managing nine pre-k and kindergarten classrooms, providing professional development sessions for faculty, communicating with parents, and collaborating with teachers to develop the curriculum.

Montessori Teacher

I worked as a kindergarten Montessori classroom teacher. Most of the students were English Language Learners (ELL). I had the opportunity to differentiate my classroom, and each student had a literacy plan which helped them improve their proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.

Montessori Teacher 

I worked as a pre-k & kindergarten Montessori teacher. This was my first experience working in a mixed-age classroom; I had children from 3 to 6 years old. The experience was great, there was a sense of small community in the classroom, children learn from each other, they learn to help and be helped, and most importantly each child advanced on his own pace.

Montessori Trainee 

I completed my practicum Montessori training at Sunflower Montessori, where I worked as an assistant teacher in a mixed age classroom

(3 -6 years old). I completed 750 student-teaching hours in an academic year.

I worked as an Arabic teacher at a weekend school, teaching the Arabic language to students ages 6 - 11.
